What about non-dummy nations? I have another idea for an entirely new country which wouldn't be a colony of the one of I have currently. It's drastically different and based on a novel I'm working on...the current population of Apanii doesn't meet requirements for a colony, but it wouldn't be a colony.

So what's the word on that?

Well I don't believe it's allowed in the game itself, but as far as just region play goes, it's up to LL.

While this other nation you speak of may not be a colony, with a common founder, it is a satellite state. I have no objection to such a thing, but we would need to work out certain Spheres of Influence, if we are to allow multiple nations per member.

I don't see how that's not allowed as long as you don't join the WA more than once.

A single nation is allowed to have up to something like fifteen embassies, but three of those count for each additional nation operated by a single member. So if you were to claim land for this other nation of yours, Apanii would automatically have three embassies in that nation, creating some representation of the fact that both nations are controlled by one member.

We would have to open a forum simply to keep track of embassy set ups and totals and stuff, but sounds good.

Hi, I don't suppose I can get some of that island at the very bottom-left of the map, it's out of the way and has lots of mountains, sounds perfect for my country of ninjas.

I think the plan at present has been to fill the existing partitioned islands, but then again, I'm not in charge of cartography, now am I?

Didn't we already have a discussion about colonization or is it just me?

OK, well if not there then can I at least have somewhere that has mountains, isn't too small and is on the edge of an island (these are the Borderlands of Tadao so they need to be at the edge of something)

my nation has terraformed the moon and will establish colonies on mars, and space stations orbiting the earth... that is final. any prospects on my territory will be turned away... i have a technologically advanced nation im not afraid to use it!!! ya got that????
