Military Organziation Empty Military Organziation

How should we go about organizing our military? There is, in all honesty, no simple way. I would however, like to direct everyone to this link, in which another organization has developed a pretty straightforward system, which keeps things fair and realistic. Perhaps with some modifications, we could make our own?

Are you talking about how they referred to organizing the military or how the battles themselves worked?

Both. In my own personal opinion, and with experience to back it up, that system works extremely well for all matters pertaining to warfare.

RPing battles only works if the nations of both regions (or more) use the same system. Why don't we just use the more active method of region hacking/killing/crashing? Then all we would need is a good number of WA nations, which would not be difficult to produce.

We could always simulate battles. I have Civilization IV, which would be great for that. Based on the types of units, amount of units and strategic positioning, you pretty much have all of the variables accounted for.

Can you generate A map that looks like ours on Civ IV?

Also, we can have Intraregion(within the region) wars, if we can find a decent way to RP them.

Also, I am in favor of Pirating some other regions, once we build up as a region ourselves.
I voted against the WA Belgium resolution cause they need to suck it up and admit they got owned.

How would we determine our militaristic numbers (how many troops/tanks/advanced weaponry etc)? I'm not sure how we could accomplish that without having in-game consequences if we base our military prowess on how much money we spend on defense in-game.

Hmm. Well we could create a survey or something that would determine how militaristic of a leader you are, and therefore create a percentage between 1-10 (or something) of your population that is in the military.

I like the idea of some manner of survey to determine the strength/numbers/how militaristic you are as opposed to using in-game numbers. Like I said before, there is no way that we could have the military we wanted if we were to base the numbers on IG spending, not without consequences. Aside from that, sometimes the issue just has not come up in your issues.

I've recently approved larger spending for defense and building weapons, but that has not shown up on my economics page because it is almost nothing compared to the money I spend on social welfare or religion and spirituality.

I like the model of the posted link, I think that would work well for us in addition to the idea of manipulating our numbers if WA delegates.
