Recruitment Officers

I have another idea for a position to increase the number of states in our fine region. This is just a rough draft, but, I propose in addition to a Diplomatic Leader, as I have read about, we could use an additional 2 to 3 persons as "Recruitment Officers" to attain more states.


Feel free to alter or completely disagree with this proposal as I am new to this. Comments would be greatly appreciated.

I think that's a fantastic idea. That way we're guaranteed that at least a few people are getting the word out.

I've been thinking that since it would be a position, technically, we could hold terms so that when we do recruit more states they can have a shot at it and so if someone is slacking on recruitment we could vote someone new into the position.

That terms thing sounds good, though voting people out for "slacking" would be hard to monitor and enforce. It would be a good office for new inductees, a non-stressful and non-labor intensive job that doesn't take alot of pre-existing knowledge.

Yes it was to be under the diplomatic affairs but the minister is just one person. If you have two others doing just recruiting we would get more members. The new people in those positions wouldn't feel a lot of pressure to be in this position since its not a huge position to fill. They will be working under the Minister of diplomatic affairs so he can easily show them what they need to do.

Well he could have assistants.

Well that's kind of what I was going for but not really assistants. More like they have their own job but they are overseen by the Minister.

That sounds good to me. Maybe the Minister of Diplomatic Affairs could appoint people to fill those positions. How many should we have for right now?

I'd say two people would be optimal without other posts for now, in addition to the Diplomatic Minister.

Seems like at this rate, most all of us will have at least one post

And hopefully we can use these new recruitment officers to draw more people into the region.

Also, just an off-hand suggestion,divide up regions so that each monitor two feeders and Meadodale monitors them all?

Yeah, I agree with Aidsboat. To divide up the regions would be the best and ost successful attempt to recruit members. We could use 3 officers and Meadowdale himself where each take a region and constantly monitor that one region.

Well there are 5 Pacifics. We would need 1 more if we took your apporach.

You probably typed in "North Pacific" (Not saying you did, just using North as an example). There is "North Pacific" and "The North Pacific". "The North Pacific" is the feeder.

So its:
The North Pacific
The South Pacific
The East Pacific
The West Pacific...


And The Pacific?

I think with the lack of new states you should appoint at this stage.
